They're not pretty, but...


Woo hoo. Sawing is not too bad. I managed to cut out 2 1-inch squares of copper without even breaking a blade :) I also managed to get my flex shaft up and running so I can drill and such. Granted, I currently have one drill bit and no other accessories, but it's a start. So here is my first, humble metal creation... A pair of earrings made of that thin copper roof sheeting you get a home depot, 4 homemade sterling jump rings, and sterling ear hooks. Not pretty, but not a failure!

Thanks! :) I wore them to work yesterday and they got many compliments. Next on the list - cutting curves so that I can get that profile of Cardigan.....
